Here is a video of a german slaughterhouse/Schlachthause. It explains how they make the food, shows how they chop up the pigs and drain their blood out to make Black Pudding.
It's called "Fleisch und Blut" "Flesh and Blood"

For those of you who understand german, or just one to see some really graphic stuff.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire0 -
Ugh, the morons on here...
...it's not about the fact that we eat chicken. We all love to eat chicken.
It's HOW that chicken gets on your plate that's the problem. It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win0 -

How does a zebra get on a lion's plate?

But are we not more civilized than a lion? Isn't it our duty as greater beings to use our conscience for the good of fellow creatures? It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win0 -

Not really, the whole ecosystem has evolved with us in mind. If we stop eating animals they will over run us or we will over run them. The way we are doing it now necissitates their existance, so they will always exist.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Like I said earlier, I have no problem with the idea of eating meat. It's the sickening, inhumane procedures that companies use to prepare that meat that's the problem. It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win0 -

Well, seing as chickens are inhuman, does it matter if we are inhumane?

evolution doesn't have purpose, it doesn't have anything 'in mind'. when an organism is confronted with a certain situation the ones best adapted survive and reproduce, passing their genes on, slowly changing the face (or fur, or toenail) of that organism, sorry, this is one of those things that bugs me.Ahnimus wrote:Not really, the whole ecosystem has evolved with us in mind. I agree, I don't believe that eating chicken and other meats are bad, why? Because we as humans, are supposed to be omnivorous...and it's just fucking tasty. I do however, agree that the way these animals are slaughtered are sick, the method should be changed, and I believe the laws should be changed so that there are less painful methods to kill the animal.0

Maybe we should go back to the good old way of biting their necks until they stop moving. You know, the way most carnivorous animals kill their pray. Would that be politically correct?bovy_j wrote:I do however, agree that the way these animals are slaughtered are sick, the method should be changed0 -
