    What are you talking about? What as changed in the past few years domestically that you can't jump in your car and go to Portland, San Francisco, Vancouver, etc...? Even if you don't like to fly, maybe you need to get out more.

    I've done plenty of travel this year mostly along the west coast, and have had a blast. Perhaps just your perception has turned to stink shit because you watch too much TV. Live a little.

    I've lived for 8 months in the US and did not had any troubles travelling domestically...only the hassles travelling from another country to the USA...

    Getting out of the USA is more easy though...
