I would wait a couple days. You are gonna get killed on here for buying just to flip. Many people got shut out and arent going to take kindly to your post. Just a heads up, flipper.

  • You realize that auralexploits accidentally oversold this today right? Better wait and find out you are really getting one.

I wish PJ vinyl was accessible via the internet in '96 and '98 the way they are now.

listing it for trade before you receive it, even if you got a confirmation that you bought it, is usually kinda frowned upon, and will get you called "flipper" every time.

listing it for trade without even having bought one yet is, well, what's the word or words i'm looking for....? somebody help me out

You could get banned for using the word I would recommend, me thinks. :)

I don't understand what is the big deal. It is not like I put it on Ebay or something...or that I'm asking for anything unreasonable here!

If I want a copy of an LP I don't have, and think my only chance is to pay some ungodly amount on Ebay, why wouldn't I try to trade for it, album for album, when I see a possibility?

Why do I have to deal with self-righteous name-calling because I don't want to go to Ebay to find a Binaural LP???

i really dont see it as a big deal. he's not posting it for sale for more than retail. he's not linking it to an ebay auction that says "hey look at this guy". people trade all the time. if you dont think it's a fair trade, then dont offer one.

on the other hand, if u have a spare vinyl and lucked out on ITW, then give him a go. then both parties will be happy. whats wrong with that?
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

mainly because you're offering it before you even know you've got one, and because lots of people who actually wanted it got shut out on the sale. just sayin

sure it would be a fair trade if both parties are agreeable on the terms, but as in every other time something goes on sale here in limited quantities, people buy with no intent on keeping it, and flock to the pit to pawn it off

as dangerboy said, lots of people got shut out one way or another with this record, buying it for trade bait is just in bad taste, especially here on the pit with fellow fans

What do you mean by "pawn it off"? Flock to the pit? Bad Taste? What???
Who are you to speak for every member on here?

How do you know someone doesn't have what I am looking for and would consider this the PERFECT opportunity to do an even trade and get something great in return?

How am I supposed to try and find the other hard-to-find vinyl without paying over what it costs then?

Like I said before the self-righteousness with posting and trading stuff is BS!

So I am offering this to everyone, and maybe someone that was not lucky today perhaps was lucky when I was not, and that would be a perfect situation wouldn't it?
Neither of us would have to go to ebay or spend more than retail for it?

Go take your judging of me somewhere else.....WHAT IS SO BAD ABOUT OFFERING AN EVEN TRADE???

Sometimes it is just about timing, Flip.....

You could have atleast waited until you know that you got one for sure, right? Have it in your hand BEFORE you offer it up.. What if, you get someone to bite on your little "trade", and then you dont get one? They would have got their hopes up for nothing and maybe have passed on getting one elsewhere because they were banking on getting yours which you dont have yet? Just seems like you should wait to trade something when you actually have it in your possesion. imho. Good luck though..;)

i'm not judging you, i'm just trying to explain to you the general vibe of trading/actually having what you're offering/why you got shit on. nowhere did i state my opinion one way or the other.
