    the thread starter has been on this board for a very long time.
    i have read his posts for years and that is just his sense of humor.

    he was just having fun, as always. i thought that was the reason we were all here.
    to talk about pearl jam and have a few laughs.

    someone getting suspended or banned over a thread that was,
    in my opinion, uncalled for and i don't understand it.

    from what i read of that thread before it was deleted, the responses were nothing but positive and supportive. i did not see the hatefullness at all.

    Sorry you don't see it but just reread JTR's post as to why it was taken off. Pretty much sums it up.

    no offense, not trying to be rude, but 'm not sure why you are posting this over here. isn't this something you should be telling the mods since they are the ones who ban people and delete threads?

    his idea of "fun" was to laugh at other people's expense. mean -spirited, nasty "jokes". insults more like it, and for no reason other than our geographic locations. degrading stereotypes were what his idea of "having some fun" was. if you're here to defend him: don't do it in this thread. people who want to insult us and then laugh about it and then tell us to get over it, it was just a joke are not welcome here.

    Stoneg I think you said last night that as long as it was "official" you wouldn't worry. But it's not official, if it was we would know. My point by being on this thread is to let us all know that they are very much working on a set of tour dates that includes East Coast/South. Is that fair?

    Here comes today's easy trivia. Tomorrow will be hard.


    Don't get to check in as much as i would like-being a chef/owner is pretty consuming, but thank you JTR-for the info and just being good spirited.

    i am asking in here because of the comments made in here earlier today.

    i fully intend to ask the moderators exactly which posting rules were
    breached by the play the north thread. i thought the thread was a good idea and saw nothing at all wrong with it.
