I missed the thread about playing the north that was deleted, but from what I gather it was for the best. No need for anyone to be making fun, especially when it appears we have a peace movement going on here.

Also thanks for the kind words spalma and was it presentents? Sorry if I got it wrong. My four year old called tonight to tell me he sled more than anybody ever had. They are in Colorado with their grandparents and went to some nordic complex in Steamboat or one of those places. He now wants a trophy for being the best sleder, I guess that is what it would be called. They are all doing good and will be back Saturday, longest we have ever been apart. Anyways all is well.

I know its already been said but Desmond looks like Ed and Jericho was the best ever tonight.

Fitting song lyrics for the day:

"And heres to the laws of Alberto Gonzales
And congress will pass an act in the panic of the day
The Constitutions drowing in an ocean of decay
And freedom of speech is dangerous, ive even heard them say

Oh heres to the land youve torn out the heart of
Gonzales find yourself another country to be a part of"

    Stop the War

    Peace

Good idea, I told him I would get him one and was not sure how I would pull it off. Thing is he got a real one from soccer last spring so he would probably look at me like I was crazy, but it just may work. Thanks for the idea.

So we never got the full answer to the trivia question did we?

I like mr JTR, he seems very cool.

Bats are mammals, dude, just like us humans. Not an ornithologist....yet...working on that on a daily basis. Did see some cool bats in an old iron ore mine last week. As for the answer, I have no clue as to why they disappeared. Sorry....:(

We have a place in this crazy little town I live in called Bat World, operated by a woman known as the bat lady, I think they have a web site search it if you want and it is in Mineral Wells, Tx. We have a ton of bats that live in some abandoned building attics in our dilapadated downtown area. Bat World is cool though.

    bat cave, north carolina

After hiking a mile up a steep trail through a mature hardwood forest, you will be rewarded with Bat Cave’s natural air conditioning: a cool moist draft that constantly pours out of vents on the side of the large cave. Bat Cave is the largest known granite fissure cave in North America. The main chamber is a dark cathedral more than 300 feet long and approximately 85 feet high. Fissure caves are formed by rock splits, boulder movements, and other motions of the earth, while most other caves are formed by water dissolving and abrading rock.

    goodnight ya'll.
“It’s the idea that people living close to nature tend to be noble. It’s seeing all those sunsets that does it. You can’t watch a sunset and then go off and set fire to your neighbor’s tepee. Living close to nature is wonderful for your mental health.”
