  THE POISON
  
  YOU ARE HURTING ME BUT I AM NOT LEAVING
  YOU ARE HURTING ME BUT I AM STILL TRYING
  TO UNDERSTAND YOU, ... I AM STILL TRYING
  TO RELATE TO.... THE THINGS YOU SAY
  CAN'T UNDERSTAND THE THINGS YOU DO
  
  YOU ARE HURTING ME BUT I'M NOT LEAVING, FIGHTING
  THE POISON YOU ARE VOMITTING
  THE POISON YOU VOMIT
  THE POISON SOMEONE GAVE YOU TO EAT
  THE POISON YOU ATE
  THE POISON YOU GAVE ME TO EAT
  THE POISON I ATE
  I DONT WANT TO POISON
  
  YOU WERE HURTING ME,
  I WAS HURTING YOU,
  SO I BEGAN TO CHANGE.

  fighting the bitter sting of life
  swelling with sadness
  trial upon trial for what?!
  Character, I have none anymore
  just this bitter sweet emptines
  I miss once strong connections
  now broken with time
  my soul is shattered
  my existence meanigless
  Every attemtp for reality, futile
  Everywhere is bitterness
  or emptiness
  or people feeling the same as me.

  Wow I am impressed. I would have responded sooner but haven't been on in awhile. I think yours is much better than mine. Wow!

  Thanks, well I like your poem as much as mine. I believe this is the thing about communication,... At least I try to take the feelings, words or thoughts of someone and see what it awakes in me... I think that's how a dialogue can begin... exchange ideas, thoughts, feelings...
