Full concert digital downloads will be available exclusively at http://www.pearljam.com. Digital downloads of full Pearl Jam shows will be available for download two weeks after each concert in mp3 and FLAC formats. The price for the digital bootlegs will be $9.99 (mp3) and $14.99 (FLAC) per show.
it didn't take that long for last years did it? i thought they were up a few days after. just curious.

sorry but my reading of the statement tells me that the boots will be available "for" 2 weeks after the show, meaning you got 2 weeks to download it if you want it, not that it will take 2 weeks for it to be available. Usually the boots are available within about 24 hours after the show. Just my interpretation.Raleigh '03; Hartford '08; Mansfield II '08; Buffalo '10; Hartford '10;East Troy I '11; East Troy II '11; DeLuna Fest '12; Wrigley '13; Buffalo '13;Toronto II '16; Wrigley I '16; Wrigley II '16; Wrigley I '18; Wrigley II '18;

Disagree. It says it won't be available until 2 weeks after the show. Probably because they wantto mix/master in a professional studio. If the word "for" was before the words "two weeks" I would agree with you.
Also, why would they want to limit it to being available for only 2 weeks? That would certainly hurt their sales as I am sure many people would not get the chance to download in that time frame.0 -
Also, I think in the past the raw mp3's have been available very soon after the shows, but the high quality files came a bit later.0

I think they wrote two weeks in order to be sure it's avaialble and to avoid everybody to start threads and threads asking for the boots 2 hours after the show...2006: Antwerp, Paris

But "All of Pearl Jam's bootlegs recordings will be professionally mixed in real-time at each show"0 -

No, it doesn't. Not necessarily. It's vague and actually could be interpreted either way. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying that sentence is open to multiple interpretations, now that I look at it.everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do0 -

It's all nitpicking at this point because we are all excited over this, but the 2003 boots were available for download about 24 hours after each show. Hey in about 24-48 hours the question should be answered either way.Raleigh '03; Hartford '08; Mansfield II '08; Buffalo '10; Hartford '10;East Troy I '11; East Troy II '11; DeLuna Fest '12; Wrigley '13; Buffalo '13;Toronto II '16; Wrigley I '16; Wrigley II '16; Wrigley I '18; Wrigley II '18;

Exactly, by holding off on selling it the old way for two weeks, it puts pressure on the die-hards and impulse buyers to purchase the Verizon stuff.
Pretty smart. That is what the mean when they say PJ has "struck a deal" or "team up" with Verizon0 -
The rough low quality mp3s were available within 24 hours in 2003. It takes time to mix (even at the venue) and then get them up on-line. In 2005 & 2006 some people bitched because of weekends and technical problems that some shows didn't go up for 3 or 4 days. I think this 2 week is just a safe window for them to work in, and not be so stressed out about it.0

lets just be happy that we are getting them...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0

I'm all for waiting if it means a better sounding recording. Anybody recall how low Mikes guitar was mixed into the 2005 boots that were released within a few days? Kinda' ruined the listening for me, stuggling to hear Mike's parts. However, when the Live at the Gorge set came out, Mike's guitar was perfectly clear and prominent in the mix. Well worth the wait.
Let Stone sing, and I'll even wait another week for the boot!Philly-4/28/03, Holmdel-7/14/03, Reading-10/1/04, Philly-10/3/05, Camden-5/27/06, Camden-5/28/05, Camden-6/19/08, Camden-6/20/08, MSG- 6/25/080
