Digital Bootleg Downloads
Full concert digital downloads will be available exclusively at http://www.pearljam.com. Digital downloads of full Pearl Jam shows will be available for download two weeks after each concert in mp3 and FLAC formats. The price for the digital bootlegs will be $9.99 (mp3) and $14.99 (FLAC) per show.
it didn't take that long for last years did it? i thought they were up a few days after. just curious.

Disagree. It says it won't be available until 2 weeks after the show. Probably because they wantto mix/master in a professional studio. If the word "for" was before the words "two weeks" I would agree with you.
Also, why would they want to limit it to being available for only 2 weeks? That would certainly hurt their sales as I am sure many people would not get the chance to download in that time frame.

Bingo - I think this guy's got it right...
But "All of Pearl Jam's bootlegs recordings will be professionally mixed in real-time at each show"
thats probably it.

No, it doesn't. Not necessarily. It's vague and actually could be interpreted either way. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying that sentence is open to multiple interpretations, now that I look at it.
for the least they could possibly do
It's all nitpicking at this point because we are all excited over this, but the 2003 boots were available for download about 24 hours after each show. Hey in about 24-48 hours the question should be answered either way.

Exactly, by holding off on selling it the old way for two weeks, it puts pressure on the die-hards and impulse buyers to purchase the Verizon stuff.
Pretty smart. That is what the mean when they say PJ has "struck a deal" or "team up" with Verizon
Let Stone sing, and I'll even wait another week for the boot!
