...well you earned it my dear!

~this is an oldie i have regurgitated because i never really liked the style of its substance... i still don't think it's of a high-enough quality for the topics at hand but it's all i've got for now and i think it's time to express...

The Hunters' Hymn

The Sphynx ignored the warning sent,
Calling outward onward She went--
Seeking always to be love therefore,
She forgot hence to lock the back door;

This Eternal Woman-Spirit-Child,
Carries eyes of mysterious mild,
Brown and Black and White and Red,
Afore the world's most precious head;

It takes a Syphon to crack Her code,
Digging the depths of Nature's abode,
Until the trenches have all been swept,
To reveal the treasures that She's kept;

Bidding then a final adieux,
Ulysses retires to begin anew--
The hunt of 'Man' in history,
For God's penultimate mystery.



~not that i'm leaving, just kind of an eternal-recurrence theme or whatever...

    It's got that medieval feel to it, must be the influence of the dragons, seeing that you're currently located on their island. :D

    I suppose they are, once they clear the mine and are cut and refined....still, I'm not a digger...crystal sparkles and twinkles in the sunlight just the same (kinda, sorta ;) ). I know someone sang about diamonds being a girl's best friend but I feel for crystal, crystal needs a friend too!!!! :D
