    Grabbed his jacket then turned around to face me, he didn't say anything he just gave me a look that made me feel as if what I just said wasn't the right thing. He left me standing as he slipped through the door, shit this didn't went as planned.

    fuck him then. i had enough trouble dealing with my own bullshit without having more heaped on top. i closed my eyes. taking a deep breath, i raised my hands above my head and spun slowly 360 degrees. i opened my eyes to find arlo standing right in my space. he said nothing. i looked at him waiting for him to start. this could take a while. i leant in and kissed him. this was the most despondent i had ever seen arlo. and so out of character.

    'i'm sorry anna. i just don't know what to do anymore. i want to help dex but i want him to want to be helped. i don't understand what he's doing to himself.'
