Sitting outside the store
I gaze at the people who walk by
Is it just me or
is there a tear in their eyes?
And if so, will their crys
be justified and heard
Caring about someone else
Now there's a concept that seems absurd
And if they're heard, will they be told
to sit down and be quiet
And if it were revolution would they
stand there or rightiously riot?
And if they knew the truth would they
care with all their heart?
If I looked real closely,
would I be able to tell them all apart?
It's hard to say
My observation didn't tell me a thing
The only way I can tell,
is by living and seeing as human being
Become a vehicle that blossoms truth and freedom
