dreaming on flights
of you
between my place
and yours
traveling backwards
through time
and forward again
across miles
so many miles…
i can’t choke back
this ache inside
hair damp
mouth dry
2000 miles
a thousand sighs
watching noiseless movies
in first class

and drop my anchor
and this is where i'm staying
this is my home
beautiful...
I live on the mistake by the lake
And late at night
When no one's awake
I walk to the shore
And take in the sights
