they say i am insane
and you are my insanity
well that’s just fine by me

little do they know
you’re my anchor
little do they know
what they can’t see

half across a country
worlds away from you
you’re just minutes away
in my dreams
i’ll still be miles away
from where i’m drawn to

little do you know
you’re my anchor
even though i’m miles away
from where i’m drawn to

i like love songs
cause they remind me of you
even if i’m miles away
from where i’m drawn to

dreaming on flights
of you
between my place
and yours

traveling backwards
through time
and forward again
across miles
so many miles…

i can’t choke back
this ache inside
hair damp
mouth dry

2000 miles
a thousand sighs
watching noiseless movies
in first class

  • i live by the ocean

    and during the night

    i dive into it

    and drop my anchor

    beautiful... :)

I live on the mistake by the lake

    And late at night

    When no one's awake

    I walk to the shore

    And take in the sights

    Ahhhh, beautiful...:D

    I like your poem neenerbean!

Hi lifeisworth! I like your addition too, it inspired me to add a little myself. :)
