i think i meant that i drank too much coffee this morning
and got too much sleep last night
and now my fingers can't stop moving
and i need something to read
that is thoughtful
and serious
and full of whimsy
all at the same time.

and always insist poetry or else poetry will
die alone in teh corner of its bedroom
whimpering about how its so alone
and so depressed
but really poetry is tall
and handsome
and full of sensual energy
and sexual energy
and poetry is only
"screwed-up lovely 23"
for one more day.
