New American Music Union Festival - Pittsburgh, PA 8/8-8/9

How am I just learning about this? Anyone in the Pittsburgh area looking to hit up a music festival close by.... this is for you.

Curated by Anthony Kiedis, and Bob Dylan is headlining.

I hate the location though. The Southside Works is going to be a logistical nightmare for traffic, as only East Carson street will be the way in and out. They expect to be able to hold up to 10,000 people but I'm trying to figure out where, by the river?

This should be interesting.

    Is ANYONE going to this? I'm trying to find some cool people to meet up with. I live about 45 min from the city but I got a hotel room Friday night a mile or so outside the city.

    I lived in Pittsburgh, so I wanted to go but couldn't get off work for the weekend. A buddy of mine from high school is down this weekend for it, and a couple of my friends from college are going.

    Pretty solid lineup, and a great price. I was wondering what they were going to be doing, too? The bars in Southside should be an interesting tailgate scene for tonight ;) I might have to check those out...

    Have fun! I'm jealous I can't go, should be a great time.
