Jimi Hendrix followed by Stevie Ray Vaughn. There isn't a close third. It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.0

Jimi Hendrix was the best ever. He was from another planet. Jimi never played cover songs (with the exception of some Beatles and Dylan) because he didn't have to. Stevie Ray was great too, but played a lot of cover songs live, including many Jimi covers. Stevie was never the creator Jimi was but technically Stevie was as clean as you'll ever hear."All the rusted signs we ignore throughout our lives"--Ed0

Jimi Hendrix was hands down the greatest ever.
Jimmy Page is my number two."when the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will be at peace"-Jimi Hendrix0 -
I can't decide between these two Gods:
Jimi Hendrix
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Some days I give SRV the edge just because he was around longer to perfect his style. On the other hand, no guitar player has been more influential than Jimi.Rock on!
