what are some good oasis b sides????not really into them but like some of there stuff

I know "Talk Tonight" is a dope song

but thats all I know about Oasis B-Sides
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

    definitely PJ, SP, and radiohead.

    AFI anyone?
  • Porno For Pyros put out a couple of good b-sides ...
(A Little) Sadness for the Sadness single along with
    Pete's Dad
    and
    Cook The Rice
    all three previously unreleased ...

Tahitian Moon had a cover of Lou Reed's
    Sattelite (of Love)
    on it ...

I will also most definately agree with
R.E.M ... their b-sides and fanclub releases are almost always great ...
even if they aren't unreleased tracks, they are usualy great acoustic versions, alt. takes, or live tracks ...
Dead Letter Office is amazing ... Ages of You may be my favorite REM song ever! :D

    and with Tori Amos ...
even though i don't listen to her anymore (haven't since Boys For Pele) ... but her first few albums had some fucking stellar b-sides ...

    :D

That's about all i can come up with.

Smashing Pumpkins, again as mentioned, used to do pretty good b-sides too ... just check out The Aeroplane Flies High or Pisces Iscariot ... or whatever ... :D

Unfortuantely, there aren't too many bands that really know how to do a good b-side ... PJ definately kept us spoiled for many years with their great B-sides ... they have definately slacked off as of late though.
    :(
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

"Round Our Way" ... which i think was on Wonderwall (i have the 7", which is why i remember) ... it was also the song that was used for the closing credits of a 90's Ewan McGregor movie, Life Less Ordinary...

LOVE that song ... as far as oasis songs go ...
    :D

Stone Temple Pilots have some really good non-album material (don't really know if they're b-sides because they were never officially released). But, their Mighty Joe Young demo, and the b-sides from the No. 4 and Shangri-La Dee Da albums are really good too.
you couldn't swing if you were hangin' from a palm tree in a hurricane.
  • Smashing Pumpkins
Probably the greatest collection of b-sides put out by any band of all time.

Radiohead definetly come to mind as well.

    En mi vida,
    el oscuro me mantiene
    cuando yo te vi
en la lluvia me prometiste tu sangre

    Samael te persigo a ti

Cave's got some good ones out there, but as is the case with Pearl Jam, Radiohead, or Smashing Pumpkins (who's work I consider to be the appitome of amazing b-sides) Cave's leftovers don't really match up to the work he's put on albums (which is A+ quality btw :) )

Do they have b-sides? I think they have only a couple of unreleased materials like "Learning to Drive", "You Can't Drive Me Away", "About a Fool", "Samba Nova", "Heed the Water Whisperer", and what else?

The smashing pumpkins have some great rare B side work as well... some of their best in my opinion.
