    "Try not to breath" by r.e.m. (from Automatic For The People)....actually that ENTIRE record is filled with depressing songs!






    ......this song reminds me of my grandmother who parished just before the aforementioned was released.

    Another one I want to throw out is "End of the Tour" by They Might Be Giants. Anytime I mention the Giants, I have to mention that I loved them until I had the "pleasure" of meeting them and realizing they were jerks.

    But back to the point, "End of the Tour" is a song about a bunch of teenagers who are killed in a car accident. I'm surprised Pearl Jam hasn't covered it.

    He's a pretty brave motherfucker for writing it in my opinion.

    I don't know why but "Clocks" by Radiohead always makes me want to jump off of a ledge somewhere.

    Also, that one love song that goes something like, "Some people wait a lifetime for this......"; I don't know by who but it just makes me so sad.

    Oh, and while I am at at it, last night I heard "Celebrate Me Home" and had the intense desire to punch Kenny Loggins. That song is so fucking sad.
