Scott Stapp sounded like a bad Eddie Vedder impersonater, I think that is where the comparison comes from.

yeah but even so that's a pretty weak comparison....i don't think stapp sounds that much like ed

Hahahaha it wasn´t created here but on the rest topic board.:D

I dont know what that means.......but I stand by the fact that I cant believe people still create create threads about Creed here on the Message Pit. Somehow, though, I think it will be the same story for as long as this forum exists.

first at all Pearl jam are far better than Creed, and stapp was a vedder wannabe, but i consider that creed was a good band, with many great songs, and well produced albums, especially their first two....

sometimes i´m listening my own prison and i think i would like hear mcready-gossard playing powerful guitars tunes like tremonti did in this album...

Ilike to se the (b)ass from Creed play comatose or Whipping.

hahahaha I just meant that it was created on All Encompassing Trip. You know the board for topics that don't fit anywhere else. It was replaced that is all I was just being silly you said that you can't believe anyone would create it here when in fact it was created on another board then the other music board. I was just joking. I knew what you meant.:D

Hahahahaha. I acually didn't know. I know that what little I heard of Creed was enough to know I wasn't interested.

I too am in the minority here. I really liked the first album and the second was pretty good. The third sucked ass. Lest anyone forget, your beloved Jerry Cantrell was the opening act for Creed when I saw them on tour in 2002.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Well it might seem like a weak comparison to you, but since pretty much everyone else agrees, I'd say you might be a bit well....wrong!!!! like I said, he sounded like a BAD Vedder impersonater - like he wanted to sound like Ed, but had none of the vocal technique or ability.

however, it really lacked originality and the songs just don't carry the test of time...

That statement unfortunately is so true of many bands today.
