It's on From Beale Street To Oblivion...can't go wrong starting there. Then go to Robot Hive/Exodus and Blast Tyrant. Their last three albums are the bluesiest and you'll work back from there.

  • Another one I just remembered would be Earl Greyhound. Chris Cornell and Waren Haynes were both after them to open for them. Another shit hot trio. They bounce between Zeppelin style guitar rock and occasional Beatles style tunes. Killer guitar tone all over the album too, real thick sounding.

North Mississippi Allstars are probably right up your alley. Their first album Shake Hands With Shorty is phenominal, and their most recent album Hernando is some heavy blues rock too. Just stay away from Polaris for a while. It's a pretty bad pop/blues experiment, with only a handful of good tracks (All Along, Conan, Never In All My Days).

I was listening to Sirius Blues today while riding around and they were being interviewed and playing songs in the studio. I was really impressed. I was thinking of checking them out.

Best guitarist this side of SRV.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V
  • A great version of Red House

"Gravel Road" by Clutch is another great song in the vein of "Electric Worry".
