just because i don't like staind you act like you know about my musical taste, as if all i listen to is pearl jam and music that ed supports. anyway maybe i took it a little too far myself. people can listen to whatever they want and that's fine if you like them. i just personally find their music too be a bit whiny and depressing and i was just stating an opinion. i wasn't gonna post anything on here but when i saw someone trying to compare aaron lewis to eddie vedder it got to me a bit, because come on.... really, staind and pearl jam aren't in the same league and i think even a staind fan could agree with that.

ok i should have stated your musical taste and im the one that made the Ed/Aaron comparison, both of these guys can write good lyrics, and like i said Ed is more symbolic and Lewis is to the point, thats it...and yes Pearl Jam is in their own league and i agree with you

The guy asked a question, I gave my input..........he doesnt seem to care so why do you care so much? I have made Oasis threads with people talking shit before I ever said anything about another band on here. Go sit in the corner and cry because I said your music sucks.

yep. fair enough. maybe i misunderstood. i did read the lyrics to the song on the thread starter. pretty descent lyrics. still don't really dig their music though.

this is a GREAT song. i'm a casual Staind fan but a HUGE aaron lewis fan. this is probably the best of all the songs I discovered when I saw his solo show twice in March. Everything Changes is awesome as well. Please and Schizophrenic Conversations are also really good.

If you can catch his solo show, do it. you wont be disappinted. I have some shows from this year where he also played River of Deceit and Release, in addition to the usual covers he does (Black, Sober, Nusthell, Brother). he also added Angry Chair and Dont Follow to his to a few shows. He played You Cant Always Get What You Want in Milwaukee, awesome! and his cover of Piano Man from the Jackson, CA show is better than Billy Joel could ever sing it, IMO.
