    There have been rumors that Mad Season recorded a double album's worth of songs without vocals after Above. I believe they were hoping to get Layne back at the time. Then Mark Lanegan was supposed to take Layne's place. Obviously nothing ever came of it.

    It would be awesome if they released some of that material if it indeed exists....

    My girl soundgrunger was telling me this very same thing. Apparently Mikey said at some point that they DO plan on releasing them too:eek: :D

    Very cool instramental version of vodoo child, i was wondering how layne would pull off hendrix vocal style. Have you guys heard the hendrix cover of hey baby(land of the new rising sun) by M.A.C.C.(McCready/Ament/Cameron/Cornell) for it is quite awesome!!!!
