the bad idea or me befallen by it?
I love these guys and i liked kyuss even more. As far as straight forward rock bands go no one is doing it better then them in my opinion.

The dirty south needs a fix.
I was watching some film called wrong turn the other night about a bunch of teens getting chased about the woods by cannibals, it had that girl from buffy in it. The bit at the start had a guy driving and he puts in a cd and its that song 'you cant quit me baby', off the self titled. love that song, really cool.
I saw them perform as the 2nd opening band on the Big Day Out in '99.
I wouldn't say they were under-rated though. Over-rated, certainly.
And I agree that they are somewhat under rated, my fave track is probably either Go With The Flow or Little Sister, what about you guys??
2007 - London
2009 - London, Manchester, London
2010 - Dublin, Belfast, London
2011 - Alpine Valley x2
2012 - Isle of Wight, Manchester x2
Man that film is so funny
Im pretty sure that you hear both songs actually if i remember rightly. Doesnt matter though, they are both really cool songs, listening to the album now.
Think they have been going for quite a while actually. The first album came out in '98 but i think they were goin for a while before that. Iv not got the newest album but i love that song burn the witch.
One of my favorite bands ever. Every album is so good. I don't know what my favorite is. Lullabies and SFTD are a lock for 1 and 2, they rotate. I was anticipating L2P for so long, and the pay off was fantastic.
Anything that Homme touches turns to gold.
A record sprinkled with Lanegan is an absolute gem. [R, SFTD, L2P]
Now that I think about these guys are right behind PJ in my category.
Fuckin' A.
Hooray Florida shows
they are very technical with song-writing and the production on all the albums are amazing...but i wouldn't out them in a "virtuoso" category.
I would say work your way backwards for the Desert Sessions.
homme should just play as if he was in Kyuss
I don't think they are overrated at all.
