    Perfectly said. It's his bitch ass fans that annoy me. Great band, terrible following. But they are making some fucking money from these rich ass frat boys though. More power to them.

    DMB people need to get a life. who the fuck cares, joking or not. although, I can see a thread with about 10,000 posts if someone posted on here that Dave said something about eddie and his funk.

    I am crazy loyal to Pearl Jam and Also DMB, what's wrong with that? I am sure there are a lot of PJ fans that also follow Dave, are you telling PJ fans to get a life too? If by chance they played on the same night I would choose PJ, hope that doesn't happen though!

    I disagree. I know MANY more frat guys that like DMB than PJ. In fact, I can't think of a single frat guy that is a big PJ fan, and I go to college in the south (read: they are everywhere.)

    Pearl Jam does have their fair share of frat boy douchebags, but to say that there are more at a PJ show than a DMB is a bit of a stretch.

    It wouldn't be the first time he made a joke about The Dave Matthews Band. I remember this one from Raleigh 1998 after the band got a huge cheer:

    "Aww, you probably say that to all the bands. You're probably the same assholes that were cheering Dave Matthews here last night!"

    Well, I'm pretty sure it was made tongue in cheek.

    I'm a big DMB fan as well.

    The pot and beer smell is quite stronger at a DMB show too...so maybe that's it! :p

    Their cover of Neil Young's, Down By The River is possible one of the greatest cover's ever.

    I never understood DMB. They have kept some impressive company over the years opening for the Dead, and playing with Trey, but damn...their brand of wuss rock puts me right to sleep.
    Once in a while you can get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

    You really don't realize how ignorant you sound. Yes, they started out playing frats. That was years ago. Get over it. I wouldn't say that there are really that many frat boys that go to their shows. No more than a pearl jam show. Go to a show and see for yourself. You all are very close minded. "DMB sucks!" "Dave sucks!" If it's not your cup of tea move on. No one is asking you to like them. I don't hear "Pearl Jam sucks" or "X band sucks" on the warehouse message board.
