i just heard her cover version of "500 miles" and rediscovered her sublime-ness.

what does this singer mean to you??

for those who are 40+............. what did she mean to you in the 60ies nd 70ies??

does anyone know of a song where she goes "tat-tarara"... about a woman who's bf was serving in vietnam....i have been searching that song for a long time now.

which are your fav joa baez songs??

i heard she still performs... would it be possible to see her in say 2 years time??

    i am about your age outontheporch... and i like her a lot.

    i meantioned 40+ (make that 50+).. to get a few opinions of people who grew up in the years when joan baez was the voice of her generarion.

    I don't know, she's a good singer but she always (to me atleast) annoys me when she's performing with Dylan, their voices just don't go together.

    And yes, she does still perform. The last I heard she was doing was she was performing when they executed Tookie Williams a few weeks back

    she was ok. her biggest hit was a cover of The Band's "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" .. i prefer The Band's version.
