    Where to begin?

I'm extremely bummed that we missed the Alki party yet again, this time thanks to the crappy Chi weather and Southwest's flights being delayed. It was a miracle Eric and I actually made our flight on Friday. Next time I think we are definitely renting a car too, that way we would have an easier time getting around.

Our biggest thanks to Chris Adams, Ashley & Mike for inviting us back to host this awesome fundraiser party. We had a blast and are already looking forward to next year. Thanks to the sponsors - Seattle Sound, Heineken, Sarathan Records, Hotel Max, Crash, Dumbgun, Given to Frame, 10C and Ward Sutton. Your involvement and generosity helped make the fundraiser the success it was! Thanks go to Wishlist peeps Mike/YgoWash, Brad/Okum and his brother Kyle, his cousin Matt and Garrett/Master Framer. Between the 7 of us getting everything set up we managed to get done setting up early/on time and without any major problems (outside of what we already knew about)!

For the VIP auction winners & ticket holders... as Eric mentioned earlier, $8,125 was raised from the VIP portion of the evening for the NW CCFA and Advocacy for Patients. That's all you guys. THANK YOU... for your donations, your excitement, enthusiasm and really being the heart of the night. It was really awesome getting to watch everyone share stories and stuff with Mike & the band. Can't wait for Anna's pictures to be uploaded!

We have some photos of the night, though unfortunately not as many as last year. I blame Heineken and the little blue drink tickets. :o You can see them here: http://s89.photobucket.com/albums/k230/WishlistFoundation/2008-05-03%20FTM/

It was great seeing all you guys again - and meeting the rest of you for the first time.. I'm still digesting it all :)

An email will go out sometime today/tomorrow with updates on any items owed, shipping, etc.

Hung out and chatted with us until we had nothing else to say to him. Took lots of pics, and gave us all picks. It was 1000 times more chillin than a PJ show!

Oh, there will be NO more West Coast shows, we did find that out. The East coast is all they will be playing the rest of the year. They are all writing and getting ready to record. We did remember to ask that!

Just got home. I had the time of my life. As far as mention of Anna uploading photos, I think I'm a little bit afraid of that! OMG I'm sure I made a total ass of myself downstairs with Mike! HAHAHA

Peace and Love and SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!!

Wow. What a great show. I can easily say the most fun that my husband and I have had in over 10 years. Many thanks to Wishlist and CCFA.

So,the "meet & greet" was more of a autograph signing & photo...but the in and out priveledges were very cool. Nice to walk by the big long line of folks waiting to get in. I now have enough t-shirts to sleep in for years ;) And I haven't yet broken into my books or posters, should be fun when I finally do.

Mike signed my Drop in the Park shirt telling us how the band was bummed that Seattle made them bus people to the show and wrote "busses suck" on my shirt with his signature. Nice :)

The bands were great. Kristen Ward had a great blues sound, nice opener. Shadow's Hendrix tribute was a lot of fun - Mike was screaming on the guitar! Feral Children was ok - very interesting drumming, but really felt like they needed a guitar player. However, that could have been part of how the sound was - we were on the right of the stage and had a hard time hearing any guitar at all.

Then Flight to Mars got up there and we had a rocking time :) I was able to get second to the front by the end of the show, however, we were opposite from Mike's side of the stage - again, having a hard time hearing his guitar. And holy cow - was that bass player stoned LOL I don't know what he was on - but I want some! All in all, it was a great time. Thanks, Mike :)

It was good to see some of you again, and to meet new folks. And thanks to the guy with the cigars - holy moly. That was crazy!
