    Unfortunately, I don't think i'm going to be able to convince any of my friends to see NIN with me in the spring...

    Incubus is another one that no one i know listens to...

    because unfortunatly we were mostly all kids in high school when they came out now the kiddies are listening to this emo crap like my chemical romance falloutboy and others and they think this is good but unfortunaly for them there heros (vomit) will not even be heard of in 5 years most people i know have heard of pearl jam but they are unfortunatly brainwashed as to thinking that this crap that is coming out today is good music..music has been at a all time low for a while now first grunge died (never will to me tho) then we were forced to see boybands on every channel and radio station now its just boy band with instruments and no line dancing....bring back the REAL MUSIC AND LONG LIVE PEARL JAM!!!!!

    a bunch of my friends give me shit for Pearl Jam (either because they used to be big Nirvana fans, or they just hate every other sentence out of my mouth starting or ending with "pearl jam")

    beyond that,

    I have a friend that used to harp on me endlessly about
    Jane's Addiction and
    The Pixies

    but then, now, suddenly, he is a self-proclaimed huge JA fan and starting to listen to the The Pixies too ...

    I get a fair amount of crap for these as well (something about being "gay")

    Sometimes I get shit for Guns N Roses, but not so much these days.

    Also, until last year when they disbanded, I used to get flammed endlessly for being "a raver" since I liked to go see Dubtribe Sound System ...
    what the fuck ever. They can play house on synthesizers, sing, and mix all on the fly ... suck it!

    a-ha - I get a lot of shit for that, but they've put out some pretty decent pop songs in my opinion. Sometimes you just want the easy songs. And no-one matches Morten Harket on the high notes. :D

    Kaizers Orchestra - Not too many of my friends at least like them. I luuuv them.
