it's not that everyone hates them but my friends just don't care about the band...
anytime i bring up something pearl jam related in a conversation you can see that "not again!" look in their faces...
    :D
that happens to me all the time! pearl jam AND alice in chains. there is a kid at school who is about 15 (im 17) and he says "pearl jam are evil" every time he sees me. although he can back up his opinions since he has listened to all of ten and vs so he isnt just making a decision without listening to them. he also doesnt like AiC. i can understand how people might say "oh they are crap cos they are grunge" but if they have listened, how could they possibly not like?

It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

Soundgarden, which is very sad to say. Although most ppl are just jealous bc they all love Led Zeppelin and Cornell used to be able to easily outperform Robert Plant...no offense to Led Zeppelin, they're one of the greatest bands ever but Soundgarden...they're the shit!!!

Some of my friends also hate the Beastie Boys while I love em, so there's one.
Also, while I have friends that like Pearl Jam, none as much as I do.
And there's the Stone Temple Pilots as well, of course.
