  • All 3 RATM albums are good, but Battle of L.A. has to be my personal favorate. They really hit their peak on that one. That album is flawless from begining to end, and it's perfect to exercise to! I don't count Renegades as a proper RATM album since it's all covers. Those guys need to get in the studio and make another album. The times are calling for it and the fans demand it. There needs to be at least one RATM album made during the Bush regime.

Self Titled wins every time for me. In my top 10 albums of all time list.
  • Renegades is a kick ass CD..but as far as stuff that they wrote....I'd have to go with the 1st one.

self titled, Rage is one of those bands that I like all 3 albums about the same. Maybe it's because their are so few albums/songs and it was all done within a certain time frame.

Evil Empire is what got me listening to RATM and it still remains my favorite album of theirs. How I rank them:
    1. Evil Empire
    2. Rage Against the Machine
    3. Battle of LA
    4. Renegades (didn't even buy it because I downloaded a few tunes and didn't much like those covers)
  • 1 - Battle of Los Angeles
2 - Rage Against the Machine
    3 - Evil Empire
    4 - Renegades.

    They're all awesome though.

Renegades is my favorite, followed by Battle of LA.
But it's a cover and they did a horrible job on "kick Out the Jams". I mean, Silverchair did a better job on that song then Rage did

The self titled and Battle of LA are one of the few records where I actually love every song on the album. Evil Empire and Renegades are also great.
  • I love all 3, but for me the self titled is by far the best. start to finish - bombtrack, killing in the name, bullet in the head, know your enemy, wake up, township, freedom - there isnt a bad track on that album.
