Evil Empire is what got me listening to RATM and it still remains my favorite album of theirs. How I rank them:
1. Evil Empire
2. Rage Against the Machine
3. Battle of LA
4. Renegades (didn't even buy it because I downloaded a few tunes and didn't much like those covers)
Renegades is my favorite, followed by Battle of LA.
But it's a cover and they did a horrible job on "kick Out the Jams". I mean, Silverchair did a better job on that song then Rage did

I love all 3, but for me the self titled is by far the best. start to finish - bombtrack, killing in the name, bullet in the head, know your enemy, wake up, township, freedom - there isnt a bad track on that album.
