    it's not that everyone hates them but my friends just don't care about the band...
    anytime i bring up something pearl jam related in a conversation you can see that "not again!" look in their faces...

    My friends have run the gammit of musical tastes, so to say that everyone hates a band that I like wouldn't really apply to "everyone".

    coldplay, u2, and oasis. now i know they got lots of nods in the other thread, but honestly it seems that there are a lot more folks around here with rabid hatred for these groups than people who like them.

    Most of my friends musical tastes suck pretty bad, so most of my stuff gets hated on frequently.

    One of the odd ones though is that I always get picked on whenever I have a Beastie Boys album on, especially anything older than "Hello Nasty."
