So who has the best album cover ever? I say the Beatles' Sgt.Pepper is #1, but there are sooooo many cool ones. Nirvana's Nevermind was kooky too.

LOL! That's hilarious."I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. "You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

I always thought Led Zeppelin III was cool because it had a wheel that turned and the certain cut-outs (the black spots in the image link below) would change.

Also, Jimi Hendrix' "Axis: Bold as Love" was great.

The first poster mentioned the Beatles "Sgt. Pepper", but I think the Rolling Stones response to that album cover was pretty cool, too (Their Satanic Majesties Request). The original LP contained a 3D, or lenticular image and the Beatles are hidden somewhere in there depending on which angle you look at it. Oh, the 60's must have been so much fun!!!!!!!!

And all those "Yes" album covers were great (rather, the ones drawn by Roger Dean).Rock on!

"A consistently good band works all the different elements well. A song has to appeal sentimentally, intellectually, physically, viscerally, and dig deep down into your soul and suck you into it. And after that, of course, it'd be a matter of taste." ~ Kim Thayil from Soundgarden0
