    Liked the Amorica album cover better when it was the cover of a Hustler Magazine...July 1976, I believe.

    Agree... back in the 80s, anytime a new Maiden album came out, we would throw the record on the turntable and spend the whole time listening to the music while poring over the album cover for all the clues and references left there by the great Derek Riggs.

    I have weirdly strong memories of this album from when I was a kid, and I always loved the cover. :) I went to get it from my parents' place just last month, and discovered that at some point my mom got rid of it for no reason. :anguished:

    Maybe biased but I have always though the Vitalogy cover was amazing. Very simplistic but just looks looks cool.

    I think IRON MAIDEN always stepped up to the plate
    I actually love TEN just a photo I know but the colours and origanality really work,it' captures something IMO

    The guy that painted that, Mati Klarwein, was just unreal with his ability to lay down some of the most amazing psychedelic imagery. There is a book called Mati And The Music. If you can find a copy check it out. Some of the other album covers he did were for Santana, Gregg Allman and Jerry Garcia.

    i love this one, besides the obvious reasons, because it tells you this is a punk rock record. it encapsulates exactly what the songs are.
