NEW SONG

I didn't think this would get me so pumped up..!! I love it!!! Right into my veins!
The performance aside (not that it was bad, but the sound etc..), it is a great song!
I needed it...
I wish I could make out all the lyrics...I need to know!!
Edit (lyrics without repetitions):
Every night with the lights out
where you gone
What's wrong?
Every time you can try
but can't turn on
a rock song
I got some if you need it
Get it now, get it on, before its gone
Let's everybody carry on
Carrying on
Turn it up, set it off, before its gone
Let's everybody carry on
Carrying on
This situation, which side are you on?
Are you on the rise, are you falling down?
Let me know.....c'mon let's go yeah
I got some if you need it
This situation, what side are you on?
Are you dropping bombs, are you getting out?
Have you heard of diplomatic resolve? Yeah
Precipitation, which side are you on?
Are you drying up, are you a big drop?
Are you a part of fool detrimental?
Got some
Carry on

The worst enemies of music? Money and Mathematics. Combined with music, they both do the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do. Money makes music cheap, mathematics makes it stupid and predictable.

"I got Song if you need it..."
I liked the song.
This might be a bit embarrassing - but what is the difference between "I got some if you need it" and if it were "I've got some if you need it".
Pardon me, but English isn't my first language and it's been a while since my last formal lecture...

"I got some..." is informal and is not at all proper or correct by-the-book English as it is taught. It is an abbreviation of "I've got some..." which is still informal, but at least grammatically correct. "I've" is an actual conjunction of "I have," and while still informal is at least by-the-book correct.
My hypothesis is that it is easier to sing "I got some..." than "I've got some..." because you are pronouncing fewer syllables and because odds are no one would hear the "'ve" part of it over the rest of the music. There's some economy of effort there.
LukinFan you could probably correct me if I'm wrong. I know there are a few teachers on this board.
other than that, no difference at all

I can sing "I've got some" in that tempo, though

I don't know about that last line "fool detremental". It sounds like there is an extra syllable or two in there. And "Are you a part of fool detrimental?" doesn't make sense.
Maybe that is what he is saying. Not sure.
