Tonight Show Question

I'm on the west coast watching it right now and they just finished the tram tour to the 99 cent store. When the show went to its first commercial break, right after Conan announced that Pearl Jam would be on the show, I heard a weird guitar riff being played over the Tonight Show band. Is that the opening riff to the new Pearl Jam song?

    dude thats exactly what i thought too, but i guess not. Maybe though, You never know. I was thinking that doesnt sound like something the tonight show band would normally play.
