it sounded like you were hitting pillows. barely any resonance. maybe it was the mix or the tuning, but either way - you hang your hat on your tom-playing abilities. better make those toms sing!!!

    I thought they sounded fine. Maybe it was the look of his new drumset that was distracting me. I wonder what kind of Yamaha that is, it looks exactly like the Ayotte.

    didint you say he used the ayotte on the 00 tour. I remember it was either you or cjm that said that. If he is using the ayotte then sound on him is low, cause that sounded not like the 00 tour at all

    it was me. But that isnt the Ayotte, its a Yamaha. I saw the bass drum head. I find it funny cuz its the same color and has the same wood hoops around the drums as the Ayotte.
