BONUS for buying new album on this site...

I´m gonna buy it here on pearljam.com anyway, ....so..... ..(PROBABLY GET A BONUS DISC).

More like SOLD OUT rather than....--. Hope i can get some good tickets......

I wonder why nobody says a band is a sell out for using fend(-)r, gibs(-)n, yamah(-), shur(-), p(-)avey, vic firt(-), etc. They are all big corporations also. .... those who don´t sell out probably use "render" guitars and "perla" drums. What, am i an a-shole for owning a gam-cube? or a s(-)ny cd player? "(rolling my eyes)" **i don´t use smilies, they´re for sell outs**

I proudly own a palmer classical guitar. I don´t use big brands that´s why i bought a cheap one (PROUD smile on my face).

So somebody guess what we´ll get for buying it here (like w/ avocado that cd is great)...

My guess : an i-phone :lol: (edit: oops, i just sold out myself!)(twice!!)

    It actually makes a lot of sense, its as if he would be hypocritical just by mentioning big brand names by name so he leaves us to fill in the blanks. No one else saw this?

    Any way I think the term "sell out" is over used and meaningless. Every body is a sell out in one way or another (according to the street definition) and that is what makes it useless. Are Pearl Jam sell outs because their using Target, I don't think so. Its just a store, big deal. The problem is Eddie and the band have been so worried about becoming sell outs that lots of people have missed out on their music, I mean their hardly even played on the radio, at least the new stuff. Brother was on for a hot minute and now its gone to the archives.

    Of course don't get me wrong Im not saying they should have been flooding the media with crappy videos like the backstreet boys. Their my favorite band and always will be regardless of what they do, I just like their music way to much to ever think otherwise.

    i caught the brand names and the op's point as well and yup we are all victims of being sell outs of some sort by buying branded products. i have a brand name dvdplayer, tv, phone...it's inescapable...

    sometimes the important decision is who gets your hard earned money...it's nice to control that one sometimes...especially when good options exist, like they do in 2009!

    what i believe we always need to do as fans is buy direct if at all possible, and put our money where it should go(the PJ team)...besides for sure they'll package it up right for us presale buyers...alla self titled.

    they have my order! baaaa ;)

    which is also why i'm glad walmart gets nothing this time around. HA!

    and for sure it's good that small/medium sized towns that have a local target, now get the new cd stocked on the display shelf

    it's all gooood.

    I kinda think were missing the point of this thread because everyone is to quick to judge and insult. I imagine we might get different packaging like the last cd, maybe even a live cd, hell I'll take a sticker I just want this album to come out as soon as possible because I know its going to be awesome.

    I guess few can spot sarcasm in posts. One can be a communist or socialist and still own a Toyota? We should all be careful when accusing others. Thank god there are no more "sell outs" threads today by the way.

    I would translate it for you gladly, but I don´t do free advertisement for big brands. I only promote cheap brands because i´m no sell out. Let´s put it this way, instead of buying yourselves a $1,000.00 + guitar, buy one made in china for a change and help communism grow. It would only cost you about $200.00. I would advise the following: Palmer, Lexis, Sabrina, Infinite Music, or Rockport. I believe PJ uses one of these guitars, oh wait a sec.....

    they use expensive guitars??!! I would think that vedder calling himself a communist would use chinese guitars or cuban guitars or north corean instruments!!!!! How come no one has banned them for this kind of attrocity!!!!
