Conan Tonight and DTV Hates Me

I've been having trouble with DirecTV for over a month. The image and sound have been cutting out and sometimes little bloops go through the screen. My dad's called twice and they had him fiddle around with the box. Nothing's working and he finally realized (after over a month of nagging) that someone needs to come out to look at the satellite. Conan's on tonight and I don't want stupid DirecTV messing it up. Has anyone ever had this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks.

    I work for Dish Network as a tech. Chances are that it's a signal issue. Either the dish is misaligned or there is something (trees?) in the way. Just a first guess based on the info you gave. Unfortunately, There really isnt a lot you probably can do tonight yet. I'd have a tech come out & check it out... or you could always switch to Dish!!!

    Thanks! Going out to mutilate the neighbor's tree. :twisted: Excellent customer service at Dish! And I'm not even a customer..........yet! After I'm done with the tree I'll have to nag my dad about switching!!! :D
