Remember PJ getting cut off during Leaving Here...

That was a cover...imagine going to credits/end of show during a new song...the madness to ensue!!!

    I think I fell asleep by the time that kicked in. I'm sure they realized they'd be off after 30 seconds. Such a tease since it cuts off right before the lyrics.

    I remember that because I was taping it and was so pissed off when they cut that off! I actually didn't even know Leaving Here at the time, it wasn't until I acquired the song later from the benefit CD it was released on that I realized what it was. Yeah, hopefully we can trust that Conan won't do something like that to them ;)

    i've thought about that.. but with the advances made with the internets today, if a song did get cut off i'm sure they'd make it available on their website.
    i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam

    On the "boards" at the time, due to it being a commercial free program, it wasn't thought of that PJ would get cut off during the song, being as it was their first late night performance in over 4 years.

    by boards i mean IRC efnet #pearljam, alt.pearl-jam and whatnot.

    And with advanced technologies....we also thought someone might have leaked PJ's SNL rehearsal in 06 haha.

    We are spoiled brats, does anyone need a reminder? haha

    But that didn't matter to anyone!!! There were petitions to no avail. It's funny if u think about it, yet of course I'd love to see how that version panned out!

    I wouldn't call that a debacle at all. Many times the music guest plays songs for the audience after the show. The show was over, they had to move to the next programming.

    I think it was supposed to happen like that...they were just playing as an outro and obviously ran out of time.
