On the "boards" at the time, due to it being a commercial free program, it wasn't thought of that PJ would get cut off during the song, being as it was their first late night performance in over 4 years.
by boards i mean IRC efnet #pearljam, alt.pearl-jam and whatnot.
And with advanced technologies....we also thought someone might have leaked PJ's SNL rehearsal in 06 haha.
We are spoiled brats, does anyone need a reminder? haha
ah gotcha....did anyone point out the obvious that the show was over? i mean, yeah i remember being bummed they were playing but the show was over...can't do much about that
But that didn't matter to anyone!!! There were petitions to no avail. It's funny if u think about it, yet of course I'd love to see how that version panned out!
oh i believe insanity ensued

1. a general breakup or dispersion; sudden downfall or rout: The revolution ended in a debacle.
The show wasn't a debacle by the sudden downfall of the show while the band was playing leading to people on those boards going apeshit?
Not saying I was one that went apeshit, but I observed it.
lol god people on this board who criticize others people's posts are redic

Very, very, very true.
Isn't that sort of the point of a message board? To comment on other people's posts?
Or should we simply reply to every post with "duly noted?"
for the least they could possibly do
lol - that was the basis of my post back!
I think it was supposed to happen like that...they were just playing as an outro and obviously ran out of time.
