So where does this leave us with the tour?

We got some news like people suggested we would today, about the possible title of the album, some new info on the Conan gig and when the album will likely be released.
Yet, no news on the tour. The article had that one snippet, that the band would support the album with a tour, but nothing beyond that.
Does this negate or enhance the likelihood of a tour before fall? Where does it leave the rumored Seattle shows?
Will we be getting a more extensive summer tour from the guys, or is this it until the fall release of Backspacer?

That's true, but that was at the end of the tour. And Australia is in spring then. I can't picture a tour starting in November and December and carrying through January to March or so.
