Rollingstone.com

They posted a story about 5 hrs ago about the Showbox thing, and they deleted it...even had it on the front page and deleted the link. The question is why would Rollingstone.com feel compelled to remove that story? They are a legit outfit, they can publish a story if they want...seems strange to me.

if the band is supported by whomever they choose to be supported by im sure they made the right choice and Im more then fine with that, otherwise if they were forced into it they can just call themselves "The Group Formally Known as Pearl Jam" or just "The Group" either way they make kick ass music!

Case in point: last March, when I worked at a record store (so as to say, when we had one), a new Raconteurs record was added to our system. I was intrigued, so I went online to look for information. There wasn't any, so I posted the little info I had from our system file on a Racs fan forum and asked if anyone knew anything about it.
Not long after, "news" of the possible album release was posted on rollingstone.com, quoting from my post.
Moral of the story: until it's officially confirmed by the source, it's not 100% true.
yeah, because we always find out news from the 10club first
info always gets leaked this way before it is announced officially... the ten club is always the last to announce things
yes, and for each bit of real info ... there are 10 more pieces of utter bullshit floating around ....
so ... we don't know until it happens.
