If new album is released tmw, i doubt the ed shows are solo

If that new album drops tommorow, i almost guarantee the Ev solo tour is actually the full band... it makes sense since it is a small venue tour, and if they announced it was pj then people would go nuts and the ticket situation would be a nightmare with tix going for $1000 a pair... WHY WOULD EDDIE DO A SOLO TOUR 1 WEEK AFTER RELEASING A NEW ALBUM????

and i think Pearl Jam would LOVE to fuck with us like that and have us going banana's at these smaller venues

this would also explain the lack of pre-album promo shows in the east coast and south as well... euro shows are announced, mid west dates in chicago and toronto are set... west coast/southwest festivals are announced and they are working on west coast dates...

this makes total sense to me

    The thought crossed my mind. . . but don't get my hopes up.

    Makes some sense though, especially why they did the lottery. But it'd be too fucked up to do to people that were waiting for full band and passed on Ed solo because they saw him last year.

    while I totally wish this were true, I 100% have to say it's not true. You can't say one performer is playing then have another group replace them. Some people are fans of EV and not really PJ. Probably vice-versa too. My GF wants me to take her to the EV show, but has no interest in the PJ shows. So while I wish it were true, I doubt it. ...but that would totally rock!

    i wonder if that would even be legal... can you sell a show as one thing and then switch after on-sale? not that i would mind of course... :D ...i just think it's not gonna happen.

    I suggested this a month ago but I doubt it, even though I would love it. +1 on the fan who would file that lawsuit. Anyway, just call it "eddie and friends." Technically Eddie is still playing the concert, I don't think a lawsuit would be successful. And I am a lawyer, although not in the entertainment biz.

    It happens all the time that an artist brings out a special guest - unannounced. It's conceivable, I'd say, but highly unlikely.

    the album will never "drop" - whether it be tomorrow or 3 months from now.

    it will be released at a later date (much later than tomorrow).
    i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam

    self released album needs hype... and it also has to be released before it leaks... the album is done, and has been done... why would ed do a "solo" tour if they are releasing a pearl jam album?

    alot of bands are going with "exclusive" deals with big box stores...AC/DC did it with their last album... it makes perfect financial sense in this new enviroment... and you would want to release the elbum before it leaks... and if you do release an album why only send out your frontman on a solo jaunt?

    and why have a ticket lottery and only 1 pair per 10c member? because it is the full band, thats why
