My anniversary gift (PJ related), in need of tix.....

Ok so yesterday was our 1 year wedding anniversary. We agreed to give each other paper gifts, since he is laid off and we are trying to save $$. Well I opened up my card and he gave me a check to use for Pearl Jam tickets in Chicago!!!!!! God love him, but he didn't realize tickets already went on sale and I can no longer get them. So here is my plea, I am looking for 1 ticket to Chicago night 1, preferably an extra Ten Club ticket, as I am # 167,XXX and had I known I would have bought tickets myself but now it is too late. He said to keep trying to find tickets so I can use the check he gave me, but all I see is nose bleed seats, and I just can't pay $125 a ticket for those seats!! I have an extra copy of the MTV Unplugged dvd I can throw in if someone has an extra ticket (or 2) for me!!! PLEASE PM me, thanks!!!!

There is lots of time left before these shows, tickets always free up. Ticketmaster still has tickets at face for these shows, nosebleeds for now, but better ones always get released. Shows are still along way off, you'll get your ticket. No doubt about it.

    a few suggestions for you:
-try stubhub & ticketmaster as the day gets closer...better tix will become available
-search for Chicago threads. you may find other members that have extra tix there
-whether you have a ticket or not, go to the show. i'm sure they'll be someone tha thas an extra b/c their friend didn't show up. (and there's a chance that you can get them for face value)
    -GOOD LUCK!
    I LOVE MUSIC.

This may sound bad but I just can't bring myself to pay this much for a ticket that is in the nose bleed section. I really am looking for a Tenclub ticket. I am going alone so I'd like to be able to have some fun with a fellow Pearl Jam fan :-) Plus I would rather have night 1, it's a little easier for me to get there from Ohio. Thank tho!!

like i said, it's slightly higher than face.

also, row 1 of the 300 level is NOT nosebleed.

Seriously, I'll be honest Silver, and I say this in the nicest way, ummmm.....but it doesn't help that you are married. If you were single, I'm sure more people would be willing to hook you up with a ticket.

I have an idea or two. Stop being picky, and you can get your tickets as fast as you want them, you don't HAVE to be on the floor.

Seats shouldn't matter really, as long as you are there and you feel the music, take it in and enjoy it... you don't have to smell Ed's cologne... although I never sat on the floor... I'd probably not want to sit anywhere else.

But beggars can't be choosers, take what you can get/afford.

I have been on the floor first row for Metallica twice. its amazing, but I'd be happy to be in the building.

    2010 - Newark 5/18 MSG 5/21
    2011 - PJ20 9/3-9/4
    2012 - MIA Festival 9/2
    2013 - Wrigley Field 7/19 Brooklyn 10/18-10/19 Philly 10/22
    2015 - Colbert show - 9/23 Global Citizens Festival 9/26
    2016 - Philly 4/28-4/29 MSG 5/1-5/2

And I agree with you, but as of yet all I can find are section 300...sorry but I'm not overpaying for seats so high you can barely see. The closest I've ever been with my tenclub tickets was 12th row dead center. I am just looking for a fellow tenclub member who has an extra ticket.

Just go with it.. you have a long time before the shows... YOU WILL get a ticket for face.

Did you look on E-bay and Stubhub?

There are seats available in the lower section (100 level) for reasonable prices. If you seriously want to go to the show you'd be wiling to pay over face value. I know I would.
    8/29/00, 7/3/03, 5/24/06,6/28/08 & 6/30/08, 10/9/09,10/28/09, 10/30/09 & 10/31/09, 5/15/10, 5/17/10, 5/18/10, 5/20/10 & 5/21/10, 10/23/10 & 10/24/10, 9/3/11, 9/4/11, 9/11/11, 9/12/11, 9/23/11, 9/22/12, 9/30/12, 7/16/13, 7/19/13

Yes I'd pay over face value, but I don't have a lot of money to pay a lot over face value. I'm just looking for Tenclub tickets preferably, since I was just poor when they went on sale and could not afford to get them. So I am waiting patiently for a nice fellow fan to help me out :-)
