accoustic guitar

So...I love music, love PJ and so on...I really wnat to learn guitar but wouldnt even know where to begin. I know nothing about notes, reading music or what type of guitar to even purchase...Any insight?????

    I'm the worlds worst guitar player, but I enjoy playing and singing.

    For me I just use the most basic chords and that is it.

    Begin learning a G, D, and C.

    And you can start to play a few tunes.

    Jesus Don't Want Me for a Sunbeam
    Knocking on Heaven's Door
    Sweet Home Alabama

    Then get down F, E, Em, and you are on your way.

    Hell I don't even know how to play a B. I've always used Bmin7. I've been playing for 10 years.

    Chord Pro is my friend. Start there.

    I'm bias on this guitar because I own it and it sounds awesome. Also, it's very durable.

    it also helps to live in a condo under renovation with no cable or distractions. i did for 3 months and finally learned to play after owning a guitar for 10 years

    i learned betterman and ledbetter first from some tabs on ultimate-guitar.com then by watching dvds

    also dont quit :)

    My love for the acoustic guitar has been rekindled... I've been primarly an electric player for years, but I've been doing almost excluseivley acoustic for the past month or so.. And I've finally learned how to fingerpick!
