Announced recently, Target is spreading a $ 3 million dollar charitable donation over 10 charities, including St. Jude's Children's Hospital, the Red Cross and the Salvation Army. Most Target locations give a generous percentage of their profits to local school districts so they can provide more books and supplies for young children. It may be a national corporation, but we have to remember: Not all corporations are evil. For example, just yesterday I bought a Spalding NBA Basketball from a Target in central Ohio for 19.99. I went in the store about 2 minutes before close and hustled to pick out my ball. Did anyone bitch? No. How pleasant was my shopping experience? Very. I don't think anyone here really has a clue as to whether Pearl Jam has any affiliation with Target... I mean, rumors are crazy: It's been 2000 years and many people still think Jesus really performed all those magic tricks. But if Pearl Jam is somehow involved in something with Target, more power to them. I wouldn't mind seeing a full-page spread of the band in their Sunday advertising.
Who knows? Crazy game of telephone with the rumor maybe? For all we know, Eddie was asking someone to grab his guitar with The Who logo on it: kinda looks like a Target logo... Ha!

hahaha, the whole thing? If that happens, in my opinion this will all be worth it. To see that happen would have to be one of the funniest things to happen, and at the same time the worst conceivable way to handle this situation.
