I would interpret that as, the love he recieves, say from a family/partner/child is the love that he stores up, and that stays inside and acts kinda as a fuel to his life, so he has something to work for/towards. Just IMO.

This is just my opinion but I think it means-->

Some people give love away and many times it doesn't come back to them but the few times it DOES get returned, it feels like it feeds the person's heart.

He is talking about the love he received/receives from fans after the Rolling Stone mudslinging. The 'faceless men' are the guys that wrote the piece--basically tearing ed down. He basically says, "I'm still here, I'm still doing the positive thing, and I really appreciate those that appreciate what I'm doing."

Combined with the line before I think he's saying that he gives away all the love he can manufacture internally and then fills himself with the love he gets from others. So he doesn't hold anything back and still manages to have more than enough. A lesson for life.
