For which show? As you see here daily, there are a TON of tickets for sale here and on ebay, ect... and people can't get rid of them. Just make sure you use paypal and you'll be fine

    Where did you find him?

I'd say pay with Paypal with your CREDIT CARD. I've heard Paypal's security leaves something to be desired, but if you use your CC thru PP, then you can instead rely on your CC's protections which are usually very customer friendly.

If you have his email address, google it just to see if other offers of tickets for sale are around from him.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

    need more detials ...

are you meeting him before the show? Can you exchange the money/tickets in person and get a look at the tickets?

Are they web tickets or hard (ticket master) tickets .... if it's web tickets, I'd pass no matter what the price.

if that's the case, then I would paypal the money to him, at least you can be somewhat protected.

If he starts griping about not being on paypal, can't get an account ... bail ... you can probably find tickets elsewhere.

It's nothing against the prospective seller, it's just the nature of what we have to do to protect ourselves.

Yeah, I would definitely never send money in the mail. Paypal is safer...and most people have it...
