    hey! not all smokers light up in venues! :) some of us make a mad dash to the door after the show is over... and it's way more inconsiderate to yell "open the bar back up!" a la ticket holders at EV Boston I.

    gee...i think it may have something to do with the fucking velvet seats and the plush rugs in the places he has been playing...i mean that's the only thing stopping me...not so much the size of the venue.

    no one has smoked the green at a solo?

    i dont smoke unless its a concert. me likey

    had brownies at columbia show. mabye a bake sale at the pre-party would solve this problem?

    well EV shows are in more like theater with not a lot of ventalation...PJ shows are in arenas or outdoors both of which have a lot more ventalation so smoking rules are more strict in theaters than in arenas or outdoors...

    think of the theater as a place you would go see a play...it's not right to smoke when you see plays so why do it just because there's a concert?

    and when i say smoke i mean all forms...weed, cigs, etc

    1) I don't smoke. 2) I'm too busy enjoying the show to bother with stuff like that. The day I need drugs to enjoy PEARL JAM would be a sad day indeed.

    Like other people said, the venues are small. And it's easier to sneak a hit at a rock show where everyone's standing, then at an acoustic show where it's quieter and much more obvious.

    You don't NEED it to enjoy Pearl Jam, It's a different experience. Weed makes music better.

    haha actually i was a at Rush concert a couple of years ago at MSG and this guy and his wife brought their kids and the guy was taking bong hits all night right infront of his kids

    My friend smoked aton the other day and passed out from it and got raped and yah im done that freaked me out way too much no weed for me.

    Idunno a skinny 16 yr old and was smoking bowl after bowlaton of weed weed all day not like just a little aton so i dont thnk it was laced but coulda been i dont know i dont think it was she smoked sooo much of it
    im just totally freaked out
