Universal healthcare?

Forget about that, how about letting the ambulance just get to the hospital?

Oklahoma Highway Patrol pulled over an ambulance for "failing to yield" while a woman in the ambulance was being rushed to the hospital. The cops claimed one of the paramedics "assaulted" an officer, even though that wasn't caught on tape. It's just amazing to me that these dumb ass OHP are trying to arrest a paramedic while he's rushing someone to the hospital. To me, this just underscores our health care problem and how people just don't give a shit about each other.

All this underscores is that cops in Oklahoma City are redneck jackasses. I've had run-ins as well.

hahahaha...well it's good to see your vast dismissal of 'something' is not only regulated to UHC, but also to an entirety of a police force. they can't ALL possibly be redneck jackasses? anyhooo..i kid, i kid! i think i need a break from all that UHC discussion, otherwise..may need medical attention, and who knows if my insurance will cover all of it.

That's true. In fact, for all I know, this is the same redneck jackass, striking again. Somebody should put a stop to this guy. He's running amok!

Well sorry for you if you can't see how this is a testament to how nonchalant people in this country are when it comes to our citizens' health. Was the cop a redneck jackass? Probably. That's besides the point. You've had run-ins as well? Well unless you're a paramedic and your run-ins were during an emergency, you're comparing apples and oranges. I have a feeling that if it were your mother you'd feel a little differently.

You have all kinds of faulty logic going here.

I somehow doubt in Oklahoma it is standard procedure to pull over an ambulance in the middle of an emergency. As such, I'm willing to believe this was one redneck jackass with a boner for power. I think it's awful what happened. It doesn't matter if it was my mother, or Hitler's.
