How soon should I renew my 10c membership?

    Why on earth would someone renew until 2020? I can understand 2 years in advance, but that is just crazy!

    I usually renew a week before... or at least that's what my phone reminder is set at.

    it's not crazy! ok, it's extremely D crazy, but it's just another task you don't have to remember to do or check, for a very long time! plus, we get to laugh alot more at user's who bitch & argue about forgetting to pay for their 10club memebership on time of expire. :lol:

    I would NEVER forget to renew mine. I usually keep it between 1-2 years from expiring. But why pay all that money now? You could be spending that on posters or tickets to shows ... or on going to CHICAGO!

    money comes & money goes. it was just the spare of the moment. just like playing at the casino. know you got the best cards in your hands. just go nuts & put it all down. ok, that's a bad example. i forget now when i did pay till 2020. see, the mind wonder's off when you hit 30! :lol:

    I WAS a member in 92... let it lapse coz i'm stupid (could use the poor college student thing... but truth is, i didn't even drink much in college, so no real good excuse, i coulda scraped up the $). now have 214,xxx.

    i think i joined about April 92.... anyone guess what my number was? I can't find it and an email to 10c says (paraphrasing) "are you stupid?" (actually says, when we upgraded our servers, we lost all the "old" members that had dead records... kept anyone active from that far back, but not the dead ones.)

    I'm good up until next year, I paid for a couple of years in advance, plan on doin it again when my membership comes up for renewal, i reckon it's the easiest way to go, cause then you don't have to worry about it and won't end up forgetting about it (which is what i did in 2003 and had to start all over again :( )

    Best to do it now while you can :)
